Some things to consider
Riser, Platform or Stage: To ensure the optimum experience for your guests, depending on the size of your group, be sure to take into consideration if the performance needs to be elevated. Even for small groups, it is best to have some sort of elevated riser in place.
Sight Lines: When laying out your room for seating and table arrangement, take into consideration of where the performance area will be. If the room is long and skinny place the performance area near the center and along a wall.
Lighting: Be sure there is sufficient lighting in the room. A well lighted room allows for the magic to be seen from the back of the room as well. The audience must clearly SEE and hear the performer to fully enjoy the entertainment experience.
Sound System: Be sure there is a microphone and sound amplification. Again, the audience must clearly HEAR and see the performer to fully enjoy the entertainment experience.
